1) Is the information I enter secure?
- Yes, the Virtual Rehab Center follows the security protocols of HIPAA (US) and PIPEDA (Canada). Only the minimum necessary data is collected, and that data is securely stored according to best practices in data security. Clinician and patient information will never be sold to a third-party. Patient contact data is not used for marketing purposes - only for homework. A full privacy policy is available on our website.
2) Is there a limit to the number of patient profiles I can create?
- No, you can create as many patient profiles as needed.
3) Do my patients pay for homework?
- No, homework is always free for patients. We wanted to make it easy for them to practice at home to maximize outcomes.
4) Can I use the Virtual Rehab Center on a laptop / desktop / iPad / tablet / phone?
- Yes, you can use this software on any device with a Chrome or Safari web browser. For Apple devices, you'll need iOS 15 and above. On smaller screens such as smartphones, you will need to turn the device horizontally (landscape) to use the treatments.
5) Can I transfer a patient to another clinician or share a patient with other clinicians within the Virtual Rehab Center?
- No, you cannot transfer or share patients yet. We will be working on this capability soon for our group licenses.
6) Can I use this for telepractice?
- Yes! You can share your browser screen over a video call. Share the audio to ensure the client hears all the stimuli.
