Creating a Shortcut

Shortcut Update Required: If you saw a message telling you your shortcut is out of date:

1) First, delete your shortcut. Press and hold the icon on an iPad or tablet, then select Delete or Remove. On a computer, right-click and choose to delete or move to trash.

2) Now follow the instructions here to create a new one.


Creating a shortcut to the Virtual Rehab Center will make the platform easier to access, just like an app! Here's how to do it:


iPad

  1. Open a web browser (e.g. Safari app)
  2. Go to rehab.tactustherapy.com
  3. Touch the Share button
  4. If no menu is shown, touch More...
  5. Scroll down to find Add to Home Screen
  6. If you see a slider that says Open as Web App, turn it OFF
  7. Click Add for the icon to appear on your home screen in an empty space
  8. Now you can press and hold the icon and choose Edit Home Screen to move the icon to a folder or the dock for easy access

Mac or PC with Chrome Browser

  1. Open the Google Chrome web browser
  2. Go to rehab.tactustherapy.com
  3. Click the vertical 3 dots on the far right-hand side of the address bar
  4. Scroll down to Create, Save, & Share and then Create Shortcut
  5. A dialogue box will open, allowing you to change the shortcut's name
  6. The new shortcut will be placed on your desktop

You can also bookmark the website.

  1. Open the Bookmarks tab at the top of the screen
  2. Select Bookmark This Tab
  3. Name the bookmark Tactus Rehab
  4. Select Done

Android Tablet

  1. Open a webpage and navigate to rehab.tactustherapy.com
  2. Touch the three-dot icon
  3. Select Add to Home Screen

  1. Rename the shortcut if desired, then touch Add

  1. The icon will be added to the next open spot

Windows PC with Edge Browser

  1. Open the Edge browser and go to rehab.tactustherapy.com
  2. Click on the lock symbol next to the URL and drag it to the desktop
  3. The shortcut will appear on the desktop. Rename it to Tactus Rehab

You can also add the website to your Favorites:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to rehab.tactustherapy.com
  2. Select the Add this page to favorites  button in the address bar or press Ctrl+D
  3. Rename if you choose and click Done
