Using Homework Assigned by Your Therapist

This article is for people who have received Virtual Rehab Center homework from a therapist. It is not for people who purchased their own Virtual Rehab Center At Home subscription.

If you are seeing a therapist who uses the Virtual Rehab Center, they may give you access to the homework so you can practice between appointments.

Your therapist chooses your homework and can add, remove, or change it as your needs change. If you have questions about what you have been assigned, contact your therapist.

What will I find in my homework account?

Depending on what your therapist has assigned, your account may include:

Exercises

Select an exercise to begin practicing. Follow the instructions on the screen and complete as much as you are able to. Your therapist may give you additional guidance about how often to practice.

Handouts

Your therapist may share handouts with information, strategies, or activities for you to use. You can open these online and download or print them if you wish.

History

Your History shows the exercises you have completed. Your therapist can also review your homework activity and results.

How do I get new homework?

Only your therapist can assign or change your homework. Any changes they make will appear automatically in your account.

Contact your therapist if:

  • An exercise or handout you are expecting is missing
  • Something you were assigned is too difficult or too easy
  • You do not understand what you are supposed to do
  • You have questions about your results or therapy plan
  • You think your homework needs to be changed

Tactus Therapy's support team cannot choose exercises, change your homework, or provide clinical advice.

How do I set up my account?

Your therapist will enter your email address on their end. Our system will send you an invitation email. Click the link in the email to claim your account. Set up a password for yourself.

How do I log in?

After you sign in at rehab.tactustherapy.com with your email address, the Virtual Rehab Center can keep you signed in for up to 30 days. If you use your homework regularly, you should not need to enter your password again.

Write your email and password on this sheet if you have trouble remembering.

For the easiest access, return on the same device and in the same browser. You may need to sign in again if you:

  • Use a different device or browser
  • Sign out of your account
  • Clear your browser history or cookies
  • Use a private or incognito window
  • Do not use the Virtual Rehab Center for 30 days

It can be helpful to bookmark the Virtual Rehab Center after your first login. Set up a shortcut following these instructions.

Can I change my email?

Yes, you can change your email anytime once you're logged in. Go to your account in the lower left corner and change your email address there. You can also change your password if you know it. If you forget your password, use the password reset link when you log in.

What if I need help?

Your therapist should be your first point of contact. They can answer questions about your homework, help with your account, and contact Tactus Therapy if additional technical support is needed.

If you still need help with a technical problem, contact Tactus Therapy Support. Please tell us what device and browser you are using, describe what happened, and include a screenshot if possible.
