First Steps
Here are simple steps to get you started when using the Virtual Rehab Center for the first time:
How to Log In: Go to rehab.tactustherapy.com and enter your email address and password to sign in. Your login is your email address that you used to sign up.
Check out a quick tour of the Virtual Rehab Center to help you get started:
- After logging in, you will see the Dashboard. Add your first patient using the + New Patient button. Consider adding your own name first to help familiarize yourself with the platform.

- After inputting a first and last name, press + Create. This will bring you to the Patient Profile. It's important to fill in each section to generate personalized reports and recommendations.

- Navigate to the Goals tab. Use the SMART Goal Assistant to create a goal for your patient. Spend some time looking at the options for different skills.

- Navigate to the Tx Plan tab under the patient to create a Treatment Plan. See recommended treatments based on speech diagnosis and quickly find relevant treatments using the Skills, Difficulty, and Tags filters. Use the + Add button to add a treatment to the patient's plan. Click Start to try out a treatment.

- During the treatment, familiarize yourself with the SLP toolbar at the top of the screen. Use the Skip button to move on to the next trial, adjust the Level at the top, and the select the End button to finish the treatment.

- After ending a treatment, use the View Report button to view the SOAP note. You can also access the SOAP Notes from the History & Reports tab. Try copying it into your EMR.

- Click on Handouts on the left-side menu to view various handouts for patient and clinical education. Filter handouts by Focus, Type, or Tags. Click + Add to add it to your patient's profile. You can also click to download a handout to send to your patient or click view to review in session.

- Click on Flashcards on the left-side menu to check out various card decks. Flashcards are not assigned to patients, but are flexible aids for less structured activities to support generalization.
